This rechargeable 6 watt lamp is equipped with an internal gel-based, lead-acid battery which can be charged for field operation from a standard wall outlet with the 110 volt ac charger that comes with the unit. A 12V adapter is available for operating the lamp from a car cigarette lighter. Dual-tubes are provided for added UV intensity. Model UVSL-26P is switichable to operate in longwave, shortwave or with both longwave and shortwave on at the same time. A nylon strap runs along the back of the lamp enabling more flexibility of wrist movement for added viewing illumination. Shortwave wave length is 254 nm and longwave is 365 nm. Unit is 9.5 inches x 2.8 inches x 9.4 inches and weighs 4 pounds.
