The field section includes a test area with known targets at known depths, so that you can see how your detector performs in these situations and an area with planted targets, including a few real gold nuggets which you can keep if you find them. The field section will sharpen your hands-on skills. If you own a prospecting detector, bring it with you to the workshop. If you do not own a prospecting detector but would like to learn what electronic prospecting is all about, or if you are thinking about purchasing a detector and want an excellent opportunity to compare the various detectors listed above, then this workshop is for you.
