Click to enlargeMaps to GPAA Claims

We have custom printed USGS topographic maps showing the exact location of most GPAA claims. To order these maps we need to know the current GPAA claims guide number for the claim and the state that the claim is located in.

These maps are the standard USGS 7 1/2 minute topographic maps, are about 20 inches by 24 inches, and cover about 50 square miles. Most are printed in full color and the location of any GPAA claim located on that map is outlined. Some maps cover more than one claim, and some claims require more than one map to fully outline.

These maps are custom printed by our store in HESPERIA, CA. Call Walter at 1-760-948-3333 to order.

Don't' know the name of the map you are looking for?

To order USGS maps you must know the title of the map you are looking for and the state in which it is located. You can get this information from a variety of sources including the USGS state indexes. For 7 1/2 minute maps you can also use the USGS Geographic Names Information Service on the web to find the title of the map as long as you know the name of some land feature on the map. The feature can be anything from a meadow to a lake or a city. You fill out the search engine form and the search will return the map title you need to order the map.

1. Go to the USGS Geographic Names web site. http://geonames.usgs.gov/domestic/index.html

2. From the Main Menu choose "Domestic Names".

3. This will bring you to a page where you can query the USGS database.

4. Enter the name of a land feature near the area for which you need a map, and the state in which it is located.

5. Submit the query and the results return page will tell you the name of the 7 1/2 minute map where the feature is located.

Follow the above link to find the map you are looking for using the

USGS Geographic Names Information System Query.
