Our Beginner's Gold Panning Kit includes the following 14 items:

~~ (1) gold panning booklet with easy to follow directions on how to pan for gold.

~~ (1) 14 inch black plastic gold pan

~~ (1) 10 1/2 inch black plastic light weight gold pan - ideal for cleaning up your panning concentrates. Even small flakes show nicely against the dark color.

~~ (1) 1/2 OR 1/4 inch classifier sieve screen - use to separate out larger waste gravel and rocks to make your panning and sluicing much easier and more efficient.

~~ (1) suction tweezer pipette for easy removal of even fine flour gold

~~ (1) sucker snuffer bottle for removing gold flakes from your pan

~~ (1) 10 to 16 inch iron pry bar / crevice tool - great for digging into and around the bedrock cracks for gold! (Other crevice tool sizes can be ordered below).

GOLD PANNING TIP: Check and clean out all those bedrock cracks, nooks and crannies for the best gold bearing material. Nuggets hide deep! Don't forget to check moss and tree root areas too - fine gold gets stuck in there often so rinse these roots off in your gold pan. Don't forget, gold is super heavy. It will sink down in the gravel and sand until something stops it. Because of this it is usually not found directly at the surface. You may need to dig down to find it (sometimes all the way down to bedrock. Look for tell tale signs of gold, like black sand concentrations, as these darker sands are usually heavier than the lighter blonde sands and often deposit in areas where gold will too.
