Like the original Gold Buddy this is a self contained unit with many uses - GOLD PROSPECTING, SAMPLING, BLACK SAND CONCENTRATES CLEANUP. The handy durable plastic storage box doubles as the water storage reservoir in this cleverly designed gold prospecting tool.

This is a higher volume high banker than the original Gold Buddy and is designed to be set up as a traditional power sluice.

The sluice has an adjustable four leg stand to conform to any terrain. The sluice comes in two sections and the entire assembly requires only 3 wing nuts. The unit can be set up to recirculate its own water or in a lake or stream as a traditional power sluice. Powered by a 12 volt 1250 gph electric pump which draws only 2.6 amps, the 10 gallons of water required to fill the unit is recirculated until all your material is processed.

The components all store compactly and safely in the container. The sluice is 42 inches long and 7 1/2 inches wide. Comes complete with tailings bucket.

Comes complete with 2 tailings buckets. Total weight of components packed into the case is low at aobunt 22 lbs. The components set up to backpack, weigh only 14 lbs.

The 12 volt battery is not included. It will run off your vehicle battery or any 12 volt battery. I use a tractor battery, which is about half the size of a car battery, and has the capacity to run this unit for several hours. The tractor battery is available at Wal-Mart for $19.95.
