Like the original Gold Buddy this is a self contained recirculating sluice with many uses - GOLD PROSPECTING, SAMPLING, BLACK SAND CONCENTRATE CLEANUP.

This is a higher volume high banker than the original Gold Buddy and is designed to be set up as a traditional power sluice.

The sluice has an adjustable four leg stand to conform to any terrain. The sluice comes in two sections and the entire assembly requires only 3 wing nuts. The unit can be set up to recirculate its own water or in a lake or stream as a traditional power sluice. Powered by a 12 volt 1250 gph electric pump which draws only 2.6 amps, the 10 gallons of water required to fill the unit is recirculated until all your material is processed.

The components can all store compactly and safely in your container. Pictured container tub is not included but similar tubs may be purchased inexpensively at most home improvement stores such as Walmart, Lowe's or Home Depot. The sluice is 42 inches long and 7 1/2 inches wide.

Total weight of components is very low at about 14 lbs.

The 12 volt battery is not included. It will run off your vehicle battery or any 12 volt battery. I use a tractor battery, which is about half the size of a car battery, and has the capacity to run this unit for several hours. The tractor battery is available at WalMart for around $19.
